How to Flaunt Your Favorite Body Parts

We all have body parts that we love to show off and body parts that we don’t like. If you have something you like to show off, you want to flaunt it and highlight it. You can do this while hiding some of the parts of your body that you don’t want to show off.

However, the first thing that you want to do is figure out which part of your body you want to show off – we all have something different. Once you figure that out, you will be able to highlight it in a way that is effective.

If Your Favorite Body Part is Your Rear End…

You either really love your booty or you don’t like it. Many of us are learning to love our bigger backsides – and we love showing them off even more.

So how can you show off your rear end? The first way is to wear skinny jeans with a good pair of heels – you will get some lift on your rear end and some highlighting from the shape of the jeans. You might also want to wear pencil skirts or silky fabrics, as they tend to cling to your curves.

If Your Favorite Body Part is Your Shoulders…

If you believe that you have a great pair of shoulders, there are many ways to show them off – ways that aren’t just cold shoulder tops. In fact, there are some things you can wear that keep you covered and show them off.

You can wear anything sleeveless if you have strong arms with muscles to spare. You can wear sleeveless dresses, tank tops, and sweetheart dresses. If you want to be covered, you may also want to wear cap sleeves. This will highlight and draw attention to your shoulders.

If Your Favorite Body Part is Your Waist…

If you want to show off your waist, you want to draw eyes to the middle of your body. You can do this in many ways – once again, ways that cover you up and ways that do not.

Consider adding warp dresses to your wardrobe – they make almost all bodies look great. You can also wear pencil skirts with a belt in a popping color. Add empire waist dresses to your wardrobe as well.

No matter what part of your body you want to show off, there is something you can wear to highlight it. If you need more ideas, look throughout the rest of our website for tips.

Removing Stains From Your Clothing

One of the most important things a fashionista can know when trying to keep her clothing nice is how to remove stains from everything. When you are wearing brights and lights, this is so very important. So what do you do if you get grass or wine on your favorite dress? You don’t have to go to the dry cleaner. Instead, you can try these DIY stain removers:

Grass Stains

If you have children, you are likely to know all about grass stains. Even if you don’t, just walking through the grass can really stain up your favorite shoes or jeans. If you have grass stains, try this:

  1. Mix a detergent with water.
  2. Apply the paste to your clothing and allow it to sit for about 30 minutes – you should be able to see it lift.
  3. If this doesn’t work, repeat the above but add vinegar to the mix.

Deodorant

The bane of any little black dress is deodorant – there is nothing worse than pulling on a dress and seeing lines of deodorant on it. If this is you, try these steps to remove it:

  1. Soak your top for about 20 seconds to break up the build up.
  2. Mix a detergent with just a drop of water and then push it into the fabric – do not tear your fingers down the fabric. Allow this mixture to sit for fifteen minutes.
  3. Machine wash you garment.

Red Wine

Red wine is always tasty, but it is difficult to remove from your garment. Sometimes, if you have had a little bit too much red wine, you end up with some all over your outfit. So how do you get red wine out? Follow these steps:

  1. Cover the stain with salt ASAP.
  2. Allow the salt to sit for at least 15 minutes, you will be able to see it working.
  3. Pour boiling water over the stain and repeat if you still see a dark stain.
  4. You can also use white wine in a pinch – but salt works much better

Lipstick Stains

Lipstick, especially from a better brand, can be quite annoying to get out of your favorite clothes – or your sweetie’s shirt. To remove lipstick stains, do the following:

  1. Soak the garment in cold water.
  2. Use Dawn dish soap to scrub into the stain.
  3. Repeat until you see the stain almost gone.
  4. Wash as you normally would.

Fashion for Any Age

How we dress when we are 20 isn’t necessarily how we will dress when we are 40. It just doesn’t make sense to do it that way. While we know that age is only a number and that you can really wear whatever you want, sometimes it doesn’t make sense to wear crop tops or short shorts if you are of a certain age.

Still, we don’t want to you to feel that if you are a certain age, a certain size, a certain profession, or a certain body shape that you cannot wear something – that doesn’t work. You can certainly wear what you want.

However, as you age you do want to build a style that you can keep. This will allow you to invest in better pieces and keep yourself in line when it comes to your shopping. But just how should you dress at every age? Here’s our take:

How To Dress When In Your Twenties

In your twenties, you are going to look better than you probably ever will again. When you are this age, you want to try everything that you possible can. You want to wear different types of clothing, different cuts, and different fabrics so that you can find what you really like.

How To Dress In Your Thirties

By the time you hit your thirties, you are probably financially stable enough to really invest in some great pieces. When you turn thirty, you want to start eliminating some of those pieces of clothing that just don’t fit, those that have stains, and those that you just don’t wear anymore.

Now, you want to invest in quality clothing that will make you feel good. One tip? Don’t wear heels every day – your hips and knees will thank you later.

How To Dress In Your Forties

When you are in your forties, you will have developed your own personal style. Now, you are able to wear whatever you want and probably afford some better pieces. Stick to wearing what you feel comfortable in, but don’t forget that you still have a great life and that you should dress up every now and again.

Remember that life doesn’t stop you from wearing what you want – you are the only person standing in your way of dressing like you’ve always imagined. Start by investing in quality pieces, and you will be shocked to see how your closet grows.
