There are a ton of insider tips and tricks when it comes to packing for vacation. With a few days to go before your big trip, you want to get yourself organised and make a list of what you might need. However, even if you are prepared for your trip, you might find that you are lacking some of the most important items on your trip.
We’ll break down how to pack so that doesn’t happen. Here is our plan:
The first thing you want to do is come up with a list of what you think you will need when you travel. One way to do this is to get ready in the morning and with each step you take, write down what you will need for the entire time. You want to think about things you’ve forgotten in the past as well. Plan for everything, and then as the trip gets closer, you can cut back as you need.
By pre packing, you are also ensuring that your clothing is ready to go – you don’t have to launder anything at the last minute.
If you tend to over pack, you might want to consider getting either vacuum travel bags or bigger luggage, depending on what is possible for your vacation.
What to Bring
Remember that comfort is important when you are traveling, so put a lot of thought into what you will wear. Think about wrinkles both inside of your back and on your journey. You’ll probably be cold as you travel, but if you are going someplace warm, you don’t want to be stuck with only warm clothing. This is why layers are your friend. Always bring a lightweight scarf wherever you go. This can be used in so many different situations. Maybe you want a cover when you are traveling. Maybe you will want something to cover your shoulders when you are in a tank top. A great scarf can be used as an accessory in so many different ways – from a belt to a wrap.
Also remember that you probably won’t need heels, wherever you go. Bring a nice pair of flats that you can wear on the go and call it a day.
When it comes to colors, pick a color scheme that will work for you so that you can match your accessories, bags, and everything else to it.
Where are you planning to go on your next trip?
Coconut oil has been named as one of the miracle products of the last few years, and that shouldn’t really come as a surprise to anyone who has paid attention to lifestyle trends. There is a growing focus natural beauty and things that you can do for yourself that won’t harm the environment or your body. In fact, another great advantage of coconut oil is the fact that you can use it as much as you want because it is so inexpensive.
But just how can you incorporate coconut oil into your beauty routine?
Coconut Oil As a Hair Treatment
You can use coconut oil for your hair treatments. It helps to add moisture back into your hair and reduces the look of damaged, dry, frizzy hair. This is because coconut oil softens your hair and traps all of the moisture inside. To make this treatment work for you, you should apply generous to your hair from the roots to the ends. Comb it through and leave it on your hair for as long as possible – you can even sleep with it on your hair. Make sure that you rinse it out thoroughly and see the difference in your hair.
If your hair is frizzy throughout the day, you can use it to tame the frizz in the same way. Just rub some onto your hands and smooth down your fly aways.
Coconut Oil for the Face
You can use coconut oil as a way to break down waterproof eyeliners, make ups, and extremely long lasting lipsticks. Simply put some on a cotton pad and use it to remove your make up. This will soften the makeup and allow you to use warm water and a gentle face wash when you are finished.
You can also use coconut oil as a face mask. All you have to do is combine 1 tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of melted coconut oil. Let them mix for about a half hour, and then put the mask on for ten minutes.
Coconut Oil for the Body
Coconut oil can be combined with ground coffee, sea salt, or sugar and then used as a great body scrub. This is also a great tool for when you are shaving your legs – just make sure you clean out your shower or tub afterwards. You can also use coconut oil as a body moisturizer by putting it on top of your skin as soon as you leave the shower. The smell isn’t offensive and will fade fairly quickly, but the moisture will last for a long time.
If you are interested in achieving a natural look on a day to day basis, you have probably fought with your make-up, skincare, and hair care so that you feel comfortable doing so. While many people can rock a natural look, it sometimes is difficult to find products that will make you feel comfortable with your natural beauty.
How can you achieve that perfect natural look? Here are a few ideas:
Natural make up is all about not going too hard on any specific product or color. You want to choose foundations that aren’t too dark or cakey, eyeshadows that are very close to your natural lid color, and lips that are hydrated and plumped instead of colorful and pigmented.
You still want to use foundation, concealer, setting spray, primer, powder, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lip gloss, and maybe even some blush. What don’t’ you want to use? Try not to contour your skin too much nor layer too many products as it will end up looking too heavy.
How can you make your hair look more natural? It’s simple – you can let your hair air dry and work with your natural texture. It isn’t something that you really want to shy away from, and hair that is too controlled will end up making the rest of your work look heavy handed.
Skincare is probably the most important part of your natural look – it is the basis for everything. When you take good care of your skin, you do not need to use as much makeup or makeup that is as harsh. Make sure that you moisturize your skin every day and that you wash your makeup off every night. Even if you didn’t wear make up, washing off the oils and dirt from the day can be extremely helpful to get your skin where it needs to be.
Make sure that you choose products that are high quality and work for your skin type.
Want to look natural every day, but don’t want to show any of your blemishes or skin markings? It might take some time for you to get comfortable, but once you are there, you will be able to rock your natural style.
